I have always been interested in art and the creative process.  I believe that the imagination is limitless.  It seems to me that I could create something out of “nothing” and I would call it art.

As the child of artisan parents I was exposed to the simplicity of the village life.  My parents’ creativity amazed me and this admiration has been carried through my life.

My point of view is that it’s never too early to make the first step to become an artist.

Subject Matter

After several years (1995-2002) of studying human bodies and faces I turned to a traditional theme, the still life.
Throughout my life, I have welcomed exposure to and interaction with the peoples of other cultures.  My life became part of the Arabic culture when I met my Moroccan husband. I was fascinated by their customs, generous hospitality and family centered lifestyle.  I have been fortunate enough to experience firsthand the beauty of the African continent on my numerous trips to Morocco. On our return from our visits, my husband and I have brought back with us a variety of objects handcrafted by local artisans.  Quickly our house filled up with tea sets, trays, terracotta soup-sets, brass palates, wood boxes, rugs, curtains, lightings and other hand made accessories.
